PRODUCTIONS IN PRINT IS A HIT!

PIP’S ARE TAKING OFF! What is a PIP, you ask?

A Production in Print is a production of a play as a book. Each title includes the script of the play, information about the theater, a brief biography of the playwright, production images on the cover and in the book, and any other content that the theater desires! Though the live performance of the play will conclude on closing night, the production will live on as a book and memento for audience members!

Soon we’ll see PIPs in every theater lobby in the country!

In the few short months since we launched PIP, we’ve lined up the following PIPs:

  • THE LIAR by Pierre Corneille, adapted by David Ives (Shakespeare Theatre Company of D.C.)
  • GRIMM by various playwrights (Company One in Boston)
  • THE NOVELIST by Theresa Rebeck (Dorset Theater Festival in Vermont)
  • AFTER THE REVOLUTION by Amy Herzog (Playwrights Horizons in New York)
  • A CHRISTMAS CAROL adapted by David Thompson (The McCarter Theatre)
  • LOMBARDI on Broadway by Eric Simonson (Circle in the Square)
  • A SMALL FIRE by Adam Bock (PLAYWRIGHTS HORIZONS)
  • SIX CHARACTERS IN SEARCH OF AN AUTHOR by Luigi Pirandello, translated by Carl Mueller (Aquila Theatre of NYU)
  • A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM by William Shakespeare (Salve Regina University)
  • An anthology of plays for the ASSOCIATION OF THEATRE IN HIGHER EDUCATION
